Balu Prakasam is a seasoned financial services professional with nearly three decades of experience across banking, financial services, insurance, education, and manufacturing sectors. He is the Co-founder and Partner of Lampros Asset Distribution LLP and is associated with Catalyst Money as a consultant for term and life insurance solutions.
An MBA graduate and professionally certified with FLMI, LOMA, and AMFI qualifications, Balu Prakasam brings extensive expertise in sales and marketing, advertising and communication, training and development, distribution excellence, and project management. Out of his 30+ years of professional experience, 19 years have been in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector.
He previously served as Director – Agency Sales at Tata AIA Life, part of the Tata Group Financial Services, and has worked with reputed organizations including SIV Industries, the Aditya Birla Group, PNB MetLife, Reliance Capital, and the Tata Group. He has also been associated as a mentor and trainer with the HDFC and Kotak groups.
Over the course of his career, he has managed business channels, profit and loss responsibilities, and high-value client portfolios, including handling Assets Under Management (AUM) of over INR 100 crore for HNI clients.
